Very dissapointing phone case

This is the third otterbox stada that I have bought, but unfortunately, the last. Ever sine receiving the case for the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra, the fit in the case was not very good, with the phone quite loose in the case. Yesterday the inevitable happened and my phone dropped out of the case, breaking the glass back of the phone. Very disappointed with this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've used Otterbox cases for years and this is the first one I'm not happy with its very loose fitting and very easy for the phone to come out of the case. I wouldn't like to drop it as I fear the phone will definitely fall out of the case

I purchased this a couple of weeks ago. The case is ok. Not great but not bad. The magnet that keeps the flap closed is weak. The case could have been designed better allowing you to access various functions on the phone when the case is closed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Covers whole phone in a slim, textured case with camera lens lying just below the surface for protection when lying flat. VERY strong magnetic closure which is fine when phone in use. A quality, well-made product.

Not a Secure Fit

I bought this phone case over 2 months ago. In those 2 months (I imagine due to heat OR the force needed to pry open the phone from the magnetic force from the back of the phone) my case has warped such that the phone is no longer secure in the case. I found it concerning when first purchased the ease at when the phone slid into the case. There was no "snap" into place as I was accustom to in all my other phone cases BUT it looked secure. After 2 months, the materials have warped. Visually, I can see the phone slipping out of the case and with a flick of the wrist, the phone pops out of the case.
The magnetic feature is VERY strong but it should be noted that it applies to the back of the phone case. The front flap of the case opens up and sticks to the back of the case. The magnetic force keeping the front flap closes and your screen safe is comparatively weak and releases with a gentle flick of the wrist.
The 2 inserts are a nice feature. I personally use it for my license and debit card. Unfortunately the main job of a case is to protect your phone and as "nice" as this phone case is with features, IN MY OPINION, it does a subpar job of protecting your phone.

Bought in April 2020. Compared with the model I had earlier for the S8, the elements protecting the corners seem thinner and less "rubbery". Improving this would create a more robust case.
Also, the old modelnhad a small flap that was very useful for single-hand opening. Please bring it back, it was very handy. Otherwise very happy with the levelnof protection and design.

I bought this a few weeks ago and this case feels well made and the fit was perfect for my new Samsung S20 Ultra Pro phone. The credit card slots (2) are quite tight but may loosen up over time. I like the feel of the cover and did notice how hard it is to push the side function buttons for powering off or for volume control. This too may ease up over time. This is why I did not give this a 5 star but a 4 star. Again, I would trust my phone to nothing but an Otterbox brand cover.

I just got my second Strada leather fold case ,since I updated my phone to a S20 Ultra 5G. I would never think of using a different case, I love the feel and sturdiness of the magnetic fold. Would highly recommend to anyone thinking of getting a new case and want their screen covered without having to buy more products to protect screen.
