I should have listen.

Avoid any samsung refrigerator! If you want a fridge where the ice maker freezes over every month, this is your fridge. Every month I had to get out my steamer to defrost the ice maker because it freezes over. Every month. I've reached out to support and they said they're going to send someone and no one has come. I've reached out to support multiple times in the offer no solution. I regret buying this refrigerator every day because of that ice maker.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

my original review exceeded avaible space.
in short:
do. not. buy. this. fridge.
1. icemaker is painfully slow & i’m told there’s a pending class action related to its design.
2. “flex zone” drawer is a waste of space, materials and money.
3. in order to accommodate common elements such as a gallon of milk or a bottle of wine one has to flip existing shelves up or push them back.
the icemaker box inside the unit dominates the interior and flipping the shelf up reduces available, usable space within the unit by 20%.
4. and no, you can’t offset this by simply adjusting shelves up or down- they’re otherwise fused and fixed in place. i confirmed this on a call at length w/ the samsung help line.
in short:

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bye-bye side-by-side. I am enjoying and am very happy with my new (Beautiful) 28 cu. ft. Samsung 3-door French Door refrigerator with auto-fill pitcher. I wasn't sure how much use I would get out of the auto-fill pitcher, but I am a big fan of convenient options to encourage drinking lots of water without using single-use plastic bottles, so I purchased this model. We started using the pitcher as soon as the refrigerator was installed. We use it almost daily to fill our coffee maker reservoir with filtered water, as recommended. The pitcher provides a ready source of filtered water in a larger vessel, and I don't even have to fill it myself. The pitcher is also nicely integrated into the refrigerator design, taking a minimal amount of space. As a long time side-by-side refrigerator owner, I hesitated moving to the Freezer on the bottom model. I need not have worried. This freezer design works perfectly for us. The drawers are very spacious and well designed. I buy large bags of frozen veggies and large boxed items. The design allows me to place them all upright making items easy to find and easy to retrieve . Smaller items are stored in the upper shelf. I have plenty of room without stacking items on top of each other. My freezer has never been so organized! As for the French Door design, the 2 large humidity controlled produce drawers and the separate, full-width, deli drawer; so convenient. The Fridge on top French Door design keeps all of the refrigerator contents within easy view. No stooping over to look for items, nor to retrieve them from the appropriate place in the refrigerator. Ice and Water dispenser, is sleek and efficient and produces a constant supply of ice. Finally, a note about the fingerprint resistant, stainless-steel finish. It is really lovely and has remained finger-print free. As I was telling my friends. It is surprising how much joy a great fridge can bring to daily life :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 3-Door refrigerator is great! I love the clean look of it. The only thing on the front is the water/ice dispenser and it doesn't have any extra buttons or notifications on it. The stainless steel really is fingerprint resistant so it always looks good. The best part is how much room there is inside. Our last fridge was the same size but I always had a hard time finding room for all of our groceries. That isn't a problem anymore, I can fit everything with room to spare. I think it is because a lot of thought went into the design and layout of the inside. The ice maker takes up minimal space while still making more ice than we need. Also the shelves can be moved around, slid in half or flipped up to make sure that everything fits. I like that all the controls are on the inside of the fridge and that they automatically lock. I don't have to worry about anyone accidently changing the temperature settings which has happened with other fridges. One of my family’s favorite features is the AutoFill water pitcher. At first we thought it was cool because we would always have water ready to bring to the table for meals. Then we saw that we could add fresh lemons (or whatever we were in the mood for) for flavored water. What really made it great was when I saw in the manual that we could use it to make cold brew iced tea. That has become a favorite in our house! We also get a lot of use out of the CoolSelect Pantry. I like that I can change the temperature for that drawer depending on if I'm storing wine, deli items or beverages. The freezer has also been great. It's setup to make it easy to organize items and I find that nothing is getting lost in there. That was a big problem I've had with bottom freezers in the past. I’m really happy that we chose this Samsung refrigerator and I highly recommend it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fridge is pretty awesome! I love how the shelves flip, move and adjust to make room for large or odd shaped food. The stainless steel is really pretty and shiny! The see through drawers make it easier to find things. The freezer is a really nice size, so my frozen food has plenty of room. The features that are extra neat are the auto fill pitcher for water that you can put fruits/cucumbers to infuse the flavor of the water, and the "cool select" pantry is convenient for when you are hosting a party and need to keep appetizers chilled until people arrive- in a flat assembled fashion. Overall, I recommend this fridge, however there are a few things I wish were different; when the ice dumps into the holder it's a bit loud, and secondly I wish there was a measurement feature on the water dispenser.

ice/water dispenser unpredictable . ice shoots out onto floor making a slippery mess. constantly have to watch to be sure someone doesn't slip on ice! water pitcher redundant , takes up valuable shelf space. small top freezer drawer difficult to see.

This is a great fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first, I thought a fridge is a fridge. I never thought about owning a french door fridge because I always had a side by side fridge. Having the freezer drawer down below is awesome. It is huge and easily took in everything from the old fridge and I still had room left over. I BBQ and smoke a lot of meats and there is no problem with the freezer holding several racks of pork ribs and briskets.
The upper section is the refrigerator part I was really impressed with how the shelves can be adjusted to make room for taller items. A great feature is the water pitcher inside the fridge on the door. This pitcher allows for the fruit to be used inside the fruit jail inside the pitcher.
If you are thinking about getting this refridgerator, do it. You won't be disappointed and you will love all the features.
