[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I made the mistake of buying a cheaper product elsewhere. It was ruining my copies, smudging across the paper and creating muddy looking color. I switched back to HP and will never stray again. HP makes a great product that is worth it. The color is clear, accurate and clean looking.

We purchased this toner cartridge on 7/7. Finally received on 7/21. As of yesterday - received a notification on the printer that toner was low. Should toner really only last 2 months? Seems quite odd to me.

It is regrettable that you had this experience. I can understand your disappointment.
How a cartridge will perform in your own printer will vary according to several things, including the surrounding environment. High-density prints (such as images and graphs) will run the cartridge out faster.
Here are some things that might help you get savings:
- Most people have found that the X version of the cartridges are a much better value, if your printer can use them.
- Make use of the printer's draft mode whenever possible, to help stretch out the toner
