Battery issues out of the box

Still on the fence with this. first coulpe rides it worked good then would drop off and stop transmitting. after 4 rides i finally checked out the battery and it seems it had started to corrode. Swiitched out the battery and have had 1 good ride out of it since.

It worked fine for two workout sessions. On the third session, no signal. I haven't had time to analyze the problem and will follow up after I do so.

I bought this to have a newer back version as i still hve the furst heart rate monitor and new version I use on the trianer only. These havemt failed me and I love the new light position and new logo design.
