Solid HRM

This is my third or fourth TICKR after losing at least one and having others fail. Generally it's pretty solid, but there are sometimes connection issues with my devices and on this particular purchase, the seam of the strap has a rough stitching that irritates my back. All that said, it works well with other Wahoo products, which I really value and appreciate.

Way better than Garmin

I have a Garmin strap already; however, I prefer not tu use it. The Garmin wrinkles and is very uncomfortable; also, it has a clasp which pinches your side. Instead, the Wahoo you just put on and forget about it. Just like perfect cycling equipment, if it works, you just don’t think about it any more.

This is really 5 stars as of today but have it 4 for now because the first one only lasted 1 year and 1 month. My confidence in it is low right now. I really wanted to try another brand since it was out of warranty but giving this wahoo another try.
Note- there has been a definite change in the band/sensor pads and I believe an update to the unit (making me think that there is a known issue with the older model that the end user gets stuck with). I will try the old unit with the new strap to see if it was the strap or the unit sometime this winter when I have more time.
As of now, it has performed perfectly as my old one did until it started giving incorrect readings. If it fails like the last one then it would get zero stars.

Improved HRM

Sadly, the only reason I got this HRM was because my old Wahoo Blue HRM would not automatically connect to the ELEMNT ROAM.
Otherwise, it is great! I'm still getting used to the blinking light features. However, out of the box, it works right away. It immediately connected to my ROAM and stays connected.
Hopefully this has a better battery life. My old Wahoo HRM battery usually exceeded expectations. We'll see how this one does.

Leaching new batteries

Not happy with this HR monitor. I had the previous version of the tickr and it worked fine. Bought the new one because I’ve been out of town and left the old one at home. I have since then replaced this new ones battery 4 or 5 times. Now the battery is lasting halfway through a two hour ride before needing to be replaced. I’ve reached out to wahoo but haven’t had a response back. Not sure why it seems to be running through brand new batteries.

This heart rate monitor has been fantastic. It syncs with both my laptop and the kick headwind....which is really neat and you have to try it!
I use this everyday for indoor cycling. It has never failed thus far. The bands are nice stretchy, so every now and again you will need to adjust them. My only gripe is that the band never completely dries out before the next use. Granted it is in my garage...in the Florida humidity...But an extra band or color options would be a nice touch. All in all awesome product. I've used it for races, group rides and solo exploration.

Replacement for original unit with worn out strap

Just works. Was a replacement for original Tickr that was still working except for broken strap. Could not get a replacement strap so bought a new TICKR.
