Accuracy better than most.

More stable and accurate than most HRMs I've tried. I have an arrhythmia condition that freaks most units out. So whereas it is more important that I monitor heart rate, the device is typically confounded by the irregular pattern. Not the TICKR. It just works.

Sycnes up very nicely with my smart trainer, Garmin watch and Garmin bike computer. Two Garmin HRM failed on me, this one has been much more dependable.

TICKR for indoor rowing and more.

It's an affordable and well performing unit and I'm glad I got it. I bought it mainly to add to the metrics I get from my Water Rower which has an old style monitor that has a tendency to disconnect. I paired the TICKR to the Wahoo app on my iPhone. Thus having an output of rowing effort in heart rate is very helpful. The unit is quite responsive and seems accurate. I also have the TICKR paired to my Element Bolt so I can see the heart rate during my bike rides. This application really shines. I like the different color LEDs that correspond to my effort/heart rate zones. The data displayed after the ride is also cool. I like the overlays of heart rate and climbing data.

Unreliable.
Since the moment I got it out of the box it started disconnecting from my wahoo roam. It Werner blank many times and wouldn’t turn on.
After a week I returned it.
