I used this for connection

I used this for connection with Wahoo Bolt (2021) and Peloton. I don’t understand why I have to connect it to both the item and have my phone app open for it to read. Seems overly complicated for an otherwise “easy” task. Seems to work well, just a little annoying.

Bluetooth Connection Issues

When the Bluetooth connection works the sensor is fine. An example would be my last ride where it took 15 minutes to maintain Bluetooth connection. I have taken the approach of pairing the device for every use.

This is my second TICKR. It’s working really well. The first one I purchased some years ago just gave out on me and no matter how I tried to re-boot or troubleshoot, I couldn’t get it to read properly, so I just gave up and bought a newer model. I use it for indoor cycling, mainly, to stay in my ranges. So far, very accurate. I’m used to it and the way it interfaces with my phone app(s). I would recommend it over some other brands that I’ve used over the years as it is more reliable and very simple to use.

It’s a decent strap but

It’s a decent strap but needs to be better as it continuously stretches and needs adjustment when riding.
Also, it doesn’t work well in the winter, cold weather unless you’re sweating. Both old and new units do not register until I’m fully drenched with sweat.
