Great design that plays nice with others

The tickr is the best hear rate monitor I’ve ever used. It is easy to get a good contact with the skin, and it produces a strong signal that works well with head units and other receivers, but my favorite aspect of the design is the fact that the clip that holds the strap in place is also the contact. As soon as you unclip, the signal stops, and the battery is preserved. And it is easy to put on and take off.

Works great with my indoor

Works great with my indoor cycling class sessions. I clean the two sensors with ordinary rubbing alcohol after each exercise class.

It doesn’t want to connect

It doesn’t want to connect occasionally. I will have to let it sit for a while (15-20min) after I’ve tried to connect to the app and it failed to connect. It provides interesting info, though, so for the most part it’s worth the purchase.

Strap

The transmitter attaches to end of the strap as opposed as being in the center of the strap. It would be better if it was centered like a Polar or Garmin Strap. I need to see if it work with either of these straps.
