[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been very happy with the Lenovo L31 Yoga. It's lightweight, fast, and switches easily between laptop and tablet modes, which is very useful for online teaching. Excellent computer!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Lenovo ThinkPad L13 Yoga is new to me, just got it, so I can give a quick short-term impression. First, I was pleased to see this series of laptops with the sturdiness and business-y side of the ThinkPad and the consumer-y, fun side of the 2-in-1. I had been looking for such a hybrid, and voila!
First impressions are that it has a solid build, and seems speedy. I enjoy being able to have lots of things going at once. I love the fingerprint scanner to unlock! The screen is very nice, if not a little on the cool side in color temperature - although I have not had it long enough to adjust that, so there is probably a way.
The keyboard is a little bit less supple than I would like. The keys are kinda small. I will have to get used to that.
Overall, I like it - time will tell. I hope it holds up as well as the Lenovo ThinkPad I have at work. That thing is a beast!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really good machine. It's fast and efficient and unexpectedly more powerful than I thought it would be. The one down side would be a rather short battery life. I can't usually get through even half a days work on one charge.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had been using this exact laptop for a long time now at work, and have loved it so much that I decided to buy the exact same one for personal use. I travel often (and lightly) and this tablet is the best of both worlds. It is sleek and lightweight, but add a wireless or Bluetooth mouse to it and I prefer it over a desktop setup.
One of my favorite things about this computer (which I hated at the beginning, but you get used to it very quickly) is that the 'Fn' and 'Ctrl' keys on the bottom left part of the keyboard are switched around from all other keyboards I've had. It sounds silly but I use my 'Ctrl' key way more than my 'Fn' so this makes it way easier for my left hand to reach across the keyboard to do any shortcut.
A few other things I love about this tablet (and this might be on other computers as well, but just throwing these out there):
-Logging in with your fingerprint is seamless and quick
-'Fn' + 'PrtSc' automatically pops the snipping tool up for easy snipping
-The stylus! Ooh, the stylus. It fits nicely in the side so it's nearly impossible to lose. It works super well as a writing tool and also for any digital art one might dabble in
-I haven't used this set up at home but at school I've got an additional monitor and the Lenovo ThinkPad USB-C Dock Gen 2 (docking station). The docking station makes it easy to hook everything up so you really do essentially have a desktop if you’d like. Having said that, I love the freedom it gives me to have a full on ‘desktop’ workstation or if I need to take it in my backpack, a lightweight laptop.
-It has an exceptionally long battery life
-The screen is bright and clear
-The touch screen is similar to a cell phone; almost no pressure is needed
-The mousepad as clickable left and right buttons like what your mouse would have - I hate when laptops don’t have these!
-The camera and the microphone are amazing
-As a teacher, I taught hybrid classes all the entire past year, so I would consistently have 30+ kiddos on a Zoom call all day long, and my computer, the mic, or the webcam never lagged
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This laptop exceeded my expectations for a business laptop with touch. The battery life and screen are phenomenal. The pen is an asset to this and I am happy with the design capabilities.
