Not impressed!

I bought the leash and collar for my dog and it worked great for the first few weeks and was super bright! However after a few weeks the lights stopped working and the LED strips started to pop out. I even emailed the company to get a replacement and the exact same thing happened. Works great for a bit but does not last long.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We loved this leash at night when it worked. Unfortunately the rechargeable battery is fickle. The first leash only turned on while plugged in...defeats the purpose. They send a replacement with instructions not to leave plugged in too long.
This leash worked great until the light started separating from the leash and curling up within a couple months of use
Most comfortable handle of any leash we have tried. Sturdy product too except for the light and battery

Stopped working after 10 uses

We look after a neighbors dog, and used this leash less than a dozen times. It was never mishandled or beaten up, and it now barely lights up and only at the top and bottom

Won't charge

Could not get the leash to charge. It would fully illuminate while plugged into a charging cable, but even after 12 hours of being plugged in it would not illuminate when disconnected from the wall outlet.
Would also prefer to have a leash that is 6 ft long instead of just 4 ft. Positive aspects are that it seems sturdy and is comfortable to hold....hence the 2 stars instead of 1.
Hopefully a replacement leash (if provided) will work as advertised, but initial impression is poor.

Quality was good to start, then downhill

I bought the leash in August and had been very happy with it from the start, then after 6 weeks, the battery started to have a much shorter charge. Not long after the battery reduced in charge the LEDs became less brilliant until finally the strips no longer light up, it just lights at the ends. I only used the leash or night walks so the wear and tear was limited, I would have expected a much longer life span for the leash considering the price.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Too fragile; great concept

We loved this leash for a few months, but within a couple months, one of the fiber optic tubes broke inside the frame that provides the light, and significantly reduced its functionality. We have continued to use it, but it’s disappointing, as the leash was not inexpensive.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I got this for my GF who walks her dog at night that isn’t well light. This has made a tremendous difference, she now feels safe and comfortable she won’t get hit by a vehicle.
