The burners heat up very fast. The problem is getting the pots to simmer. They are either boiling or not. No middle ground. On low they stop boiling. At two they boil over.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] e purchased this when my old range failed. It is very similar to the old one, but has a few more bells and whistles. I didn't even really have to relearn how to use it. And, most importantly, the canning burner I purchased for the old range works perfectly on this one! So it is a Win-Win!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 3 weeks ago happy with it. I just wish the alarm for when it reaches temperature was louder can't hardly hear it when you are out of the kitchen and you don't hear it.

Good basic range

This was installed May 6, 2020. I get my cooking done with it, probably one of the most basic ranges one can buy. However, I have a few issues: the regulators on the burners - keeps turning down when I'm boiling a large pot of pasta-not good when minutes count; the storage drawer just opens and flops onto the floor. No wheel track to hold it, just 2 plastic blocks in front and it just slips into the space. And it is MUCH shallower than my prior Whirlpool range, I cannot store all my pans in it, had to rearrange my cabinet space; the timer on the stove, can someone please make ranges count minutes AND SECONDS like a microwave? I have to think 4 when it's on 3 for minutes. It only counts seconds when it's on the last minute. It makes a difference when cooking steaks and sensitive items. Don't like guessing games. Electronically counting seconds is not a new technology and should be easy to add; and last, the 'cooktop on', 'cooktop hot' message doesn't let you know which burner is on or still hot. There is another person in the household that uses it. If I could have afforded a more classy range, I would have. Overall, again, I get my cooking done. Even for a 600+ range, one would expect basics to be worked out. I would recommend it for an economical product with the above advice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this over a month ago. Don’t like the burner. There’s a center piece that sticks up, so the pans don’t balance unless it’s weighed down. The storage drawer on the bottom has the indentation to pull it open, but can’t pull it open. Have to pull both sides to open it. It also seems to produce a lot of heat on top when using the oven. Wish I could return it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
