Burner temperatures fluctuate - frustrating

We have had our stove a few months now - (see previous review) - and now we are getting quite frustrated with the way the stove top burners fluctuate their temperatures (a mandated so called "safety" feature).
Trying to fry or boil something drives us crazy as the burner will turn itself down just as one is getting it up to speed. This will occur several times (maybe 4 times) while just trying to fry up some pork chops etc. - it cools down, then one has to wait till it comes back up to the right/needed temperature.
Swapping burners doesn't make any difference, nor does changing the type of cooking pan/pot. There are more spots discoloured on the black stovetop which is a little disappointing.

Great basic range that just does the job really we

We bought this to replace our 17 year old range that finally died. It is hard to find a basic coil burner model, but this one fits the bill and looks great. But, more importantly, it just does all the essentials really well. The control panel is very easy to use, the burners all heat up quickly, and features like timed cooking work like they are supposed to.
Despite saying otherwise, this is a kosher-friendly model and that feature works even better than our previous model. All in all, it is excellent value.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What an improvement over my last stove. The temperature of the stovetop of my previous stove was too hot no matter how I adjusted it and the oven temp fluctuated. Not my new whirlpool.
