COULD HAVE BEEN OK

Purchased this stove since we preferred coils to a "glass top". We were relatively happy with the performance until you get to the poor oven controls. The controls are not intuitive. Going back and forth between oven temp and timer always resulted in having to remember to restart the oven or restart the timer. Extremely poor design of electronic controls. Whirlpool dropped the ball on this one. Fortunately, after 3 months of frustration, we were able to return the range and purchase one that had controls and displays that worked like most ranges. We did not purchase another Whirlpool product. My last two Whirlpool purchases(range and refrigerator) were a big disappointment. I have been a Whirlpool fan for a long time but will now look to other brands. Sorry Whirlpool. You let us down.
