Easy way to get heat and massage to your shoulder

This device does exactly what it is designed to do: it puts warmth and massage on the shoulder, no simple task. There are a couple of compromises: it's sided, so if both of your shoulders hurt, you'll need two and it's not cheap. My shoulder has a frayed rotator cuff and worn labrum. Using the Venom shoulder has helped with soreness and mobility. I try to use it 2-3 times per week, using the day after tennis. It's a little tricky to use the first time, I recommend looking at a mirror when you're starting it up so you can better see the controls. And after starting, move it around a little

It was Ok, but I returned it

It came packaged like a cheap Chinese factory good, and functioned like one. It felt OK on my shoulder but the wrap wasn’t great. I returned it.

Great product with one design flaw

Pros: Heats fast and high, strong vibration. I love being able to move around using the product and has become my go-to active recovery device. I purchased the leg version too, and use it both for leg and elbow issues.
Con: The power button rattles. It's a minor thing in the grand scheme, but for something designed to vibrate for 20 minutes at a time, its quite distracting. Like a tic-tac case with one tic-tac in it shoved in a paint mixer. For the shoulder, the unit sits right under your ear, and I cannot use it without putting tape over the button. I thought it was a manufacturing issue, but when I sent it in on warranty, the new version had the same issue. As did my leg unit. It's really strange, because the lock/unlock button appears identical, but doesn't rattle at all (on either unit). It seems either tolerance on the power button is just a little looser, or they need some dampening material there. Leaving the details here so maybe engineering can implement what seems like it should be an easy fix. Four stars, which would easily be 5 if the rattle wasn't so distracting.

Jury still out on how well this will help my current situation, but the product itself is great. Love how it feels on the shoulder. Wish it was like some other Hyperice gear which was tied to the app and specific routines could be selected for workout recovery, ice treatment after activity, or injury recover. And a little creativity could have this work for both shoulders - but then I guess it would be half the sales so marketing wins....love Hyperice products....
