Designed to Fail

1 year and 3 days after purchase...the teeth that spin the basket failed. The washer basket destroyed it over the first year--see pictures. So is this going to be an annual maintenance piece? I would never buy this model again. DO NOT BUY.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

First Whirlpool brand buy for me

Im really impressed and completely happy with my purchase. The wifi and app combo are cool and easy to set up.
I got the matching washer and dryer. If you do make sure to get a Y shape hose from you cold water. The steam features on both are awesome.
I also washed my king size comforter with room to spare.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer was delivered over a month ago and it has worked well. The multiple load feature seems to not deliver enough detergent to the load. The tub bottom is difficult to reach without a stool.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Happy with our new machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this about three weeks ago. It does a great job. It has great capacity. It's easy to use, once we figure out the features. My only gripe is that the user manuals and documentation are severely lacking. There's not enough info on settings and the whirlpool website doesn't offer any help. Fortunately, we were able to figure out most things on our own. Hopefully it continues to serve us long term.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I owned a whirlpool cabrio which I purchased about 3 years ago. That is all it lasted!!! Hope this one lasts a LOT longer. It took a while to learn this machine and the instruction manual did not help very much...I find it hard to do bulky items like a king size blanket and a bathroom rug. Think I have it mastered now. Not sure would recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The capacity on this washer is great and the reason I chose this model. I am not confident that it cleans well as I have had to wash a full size comforter 3 times to get a tennis ball sized mud spot off of it. Not crazy about the load and go dispenser- I prefer to use powder detergent and there is no single use dispenser. I did try using powder and have tried oxiclean in the tub with the clothes but they come out with wet globs of powder unless I choose the max fill water level. Haven't used the "smart" options from my phone as the app doesn't seem to work. I got this washer at a price match for the discontinued model otherwise I would have been highly disappointed if I paid what they ask. The glass top is already scratched too which I can't figure out how considering it is in a dedicated laundry room? Overall, it looks great, is quiet and is a great capacity but, functionally I am not impressed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
