Very disappointed

I switched from Samsung to whirlpool a few years ago for appliances due to poor quality after a few years. I've owned this washer for less than 3 years and it completely shut down. Apparently after troubleshooting the drain pump caused the main board to short out. And whirlpool is wanting to charge as much as I paid for the washer for the replacement parts. Guess I'll try LG next..

Worst Washer Machine Ever

The worst experience ever. Clothes do not ring out and we are constantly running spin cycles. Technicians are incompetent and I would never buy another Whirlpool again.

Rebalance issues

cleans clothes but dispenser leaks.

Nice washer gets my clothes clean, large capacity, but auto dispenser for detergent leaks onto my clean clothes, so I have to rewash parts of every load. I did a test and emptied out the washer and there was detergent in the bottom when I went to put in clothes to wash. I am sad I liked that feature but won't be able to use it.

DO NOT USE FOR FITTED BED SHEETS!

Do not buy this washing machine if you are going to wash fitted bed sheets. We purchased this new in 2020. Every time we wash our fitted double or queen sized bed sheets, the machine wads the sheets up into a ball and causes a severe unbalanced load during the spin cycle. It shuts down and requires us to open the lid and rebalance the load then restart in an attempt to finish. Usually have to do this at least twice before the machine stops producing an unbalanced load and completes rinse and spin. We follow the instructions to distribute the load carefully before washing, trying multiple arrangements, but it still wads up the fitted sheet into an unbalanced load. Wish we had never bought it, but can't afford to replace it.

Do not buy. Spin cycle balancing problems.

Bought this washer 3 years ago for vacation home. DO NOT buy this washer. Takes us hours to wash sheets and towels because it becomes unbalanced in the spin cycle which requires us to default the wash load & start over because the touchscreen control panel will not allow us to open door to rearrange sheets/towels

Be aware

Didn’t last 5 years. Bought 8/2020 but now it won’t turn on and now I have to have a repair tech coming out. Also, the unit has clothes inside and the top is locked so I am sure that’s going to smell. Very disappointed.

Terrible purchase

I bought this washer a little over a year ago. It doesn't get anything clean. My dark clothes come out with white spots (like detergent didn't get rinsed), but I use clear liquid detergent. I have to us the 'max fill' water option on every load and it still doesn't come out. It is also the loudest machine I have ever heard. I had a repair person come out to check it because there HAD to be something wrong with it. He said it was working as it should. AVOID buying this machine. It's awful and I have never regretted a purchase more.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
