Whole Family Loves It

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This holds even more clothes than our previous top loader. I like the auto detergent dispenser and the fact that you can have washer fill up completely for washing quilts, etc. it is quiet too. 100% satisfied!

Recurrent error code F9E1

This appliance has a recurrent board error. Even if we change it it keeps reappearing after a month or 2. They say that there is no problem with the pump.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the presoak option

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my washer for a month and have done lots of different type loads. I washed several loads of bed pillows, two at a a time, using the presoak option with Borax, Tide powder and regular HE liquid detergent. They started out very yellow and after washing them as “bulky” with hot water and laying them to dry in the sun, they are almost like new. The washer handled it all beautifully. I love the large capacity and the option to add more water, It runs quietly, too. The only feature I wish it has was a light coming on to show when it’s time to clean your washer with Afresh and an Afresh cycle on the washer. Also, it’s necessary to measure Clorox before putting it in the dispenser. My old washer had a “max fill” line with no need to use a separate measuring cup. I’m still very pleased so far and would buy it again.

I am so disappointed in Whirlpool. My washing machine is a little less than 3 years old, and I am having to replace some very expensive parts already. My last Whirlpool washing machine lasted 15 years. What are you guys doing building this piece of beautiful junk? I wish I had seen these reviews before I purchased mine. My best bet is to purchase a new one from a new brand.

Huge load capacity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my washer about three weeks ago. At first I struggled with it giving me the unbalanced load signal. After reading up on how to put clothes in a machine without an agitator (dropping them in - not spreading them), it seems to be working better. The other thing I would say is this washer would be hard for a shorter person to reach clothes at the bottom of the basin.
