Great machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only had my new washer for a week, but I absolutely love it so far. I had a Samsung high capacity top load machine that I bought 6 years ago and was never really happy with. I had to replace it because it had rusted out around the bleach dispenser and was getting rust stains all over my laundry. I purchased a Whirlpool on the recommendation of my trusted appliance repair guy. This machine is wonderful!
It gets things clean! With one wash cycle. The old one sometimes took three washes to get things clean. My husband is a contractor and his work clothes can get pretty dirty. I washed a load of work clothes that had already been washed in my old machine and the amount of soil this new machine got out of them was amazing.
The hot and warm cycles are actually the temperature they're supposed to be. My old washer came with factory presets for water temp and even set on a hot cycle, the water was cool. I ultimately switched the hoses coming from the wall to be able to have warm water to wash my clothes. Thank you, Whirlpool for knowing that folks want to use warm and hot water to do their laundry.
The option to add more water to a cycle when needed. If I needed a deeper wash before, I had to lug buckets of water from the kitchen to the washing machine. I LOVE the deep wash option.
The Load and Go dispenser is great and I'm sure I'll probably wind up using less detergent than before.
The machine adds fabric softener at the right time. It's really nice to have the laundry soft and smelling good when it comes out of the dryer.
I really like the timed presoak options. It's nice to be able to select a long soak if you need it.
I put the machine to the ultimate test yesterday and it passed with flying colors. I have an 8 x 10 washable area rug and I would run it through three cycles in my old machine and it still wasn't as clean as I'd like. The rug fit in this machine with ease and it was CLEAN after one cycle. We have a lab puppy and she's had a couple of accidents on the rug. I gave the entire rug the sniff test after washing and it just smelled clean :)
There have been a couple of times the control panel didn't respond right away to my touch, but did after I touched it a few times.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Washer is ok

I am 5’2” tall and I can’t reach the bottom of the washer to retrieve items that are small without being on my toes. It’s ridiculous that a manufacturer would make something so deep that it’s difficult to use. As far as cleaning my clothes seems to be ok. I bought Whirlpool since it was made in America.

Error message and it kept resetting for balance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had the set a week and washer started making a horrible noise and showed out of balance and the only thing in the washer was a queen cotton blanket. The dryer runs for about 3 minutes and truths off, do you have to restart.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
