Huge capacity, washes CLEAN!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the machine perhaps 60 days ago, so far all is well. The instructions said to place clothing in the drum in clumps - yeah, bad idea if you want the load to be balanced. Take my word for it and put them around the perimeter as if it still had a center agitator. It will (to a certain extent) correct for an out-of-balance condition. Beware washing blankets; you will rip your hair out trying to keep them from clumping up and knocking the machine around. I know a service tech who tells me disturbing things about the long-term reliability of this machine so I hope he's wrong. It wasn't cheap. Final analysis: we like it a lot. Hope it runs for years...

Super Large Capacity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy I purchased this top load washer. I had a high-end front load washer that smelled constantly and didn't wash very well. The new Whirlpool top load washer is quiet, has super large capacity, cleans the clothes without having to rerun them, doesn't have a bad smell coming from the washer and has tons of feature options. I am really pleased with this purchase.
