Great washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really nice washer with every feature you might need. I particularly like the heavy lid because it feels solid and uses a real piece of metal (not flimsy plastic) as a hinge. It feels like a good quality unit that hopefully will last. The features and the cleaning quality exceeded expectations. This is a good buy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our 2nd whirlpool washer, 1st one lasted 13 years. This new washer sounds like a printer & the soap dispenser is terrible. You can only load 1 soap brand in the dispenser. Plus you must fill the dispenser to the top or the washer will not detect the soap. The old washer was nice because I could switch soap from 1 load to another. Delicate soap in 1 load and stronger detergent in the next load. The lid rattles when it spins. But it does a good job of washing the clothes.

Washer tub light

There is no tub light in this machine. It is so deep that it is hard to see clothes to get them out. I have been on the telephone with Whirlpool for 30 minutes at this point, trying to get someone to talk to me. Went to chat on website and same run around. Now saying I need to talk to a care expert - another 15 minute wait. Rethinking being a Whirlpool customer. The washer seems to work good. I don't like to have to hold the start button but I guess you can get used to it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great interface but keep it level

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this washer, when it’s level...The newer machines have a very loose suspension, so if you are planning on putting your washer on a tile surface (i.e., upstairs laundry room in a new build home) do everything you can to make sure the legs don’t end up on or near the grout lines. We washed bulky items, king bed sheet and king duvet cover, and because the items shifted to one side of the drum it caused the drum to bang loudly into the frame. Each time that happens, it’ll move the machine off level and the washer can actually end the cycle completely and ask to contact a service representative. But when you wash light items, it works very well and the Wi-Fi feature is a nice to have.

Change from my front loader

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using this beautiful machine, I'm getting used to a top loader again after10 years of a front loader (whirlpool too). The deep drum holds anything that I need to wash. My only problem is that I have to stand on a small stool (I'm 5' 3") to reach the bottom to get out the clean clothes. I'm still learning the cycles and the settings.
