It’s big and that’s about it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to support whirlpool and get back to a top loading washer. Well it’s ridiculous trying to wash large loads. The cleaning quality of this machine has been subpar. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who needs to wash lots of clothes effectively. It’s ridiculous that I have to tell the washing machine that I’m using fabric softener.

Not worth it, very unhappy

I bought this 6 months ago to replace my frontal washer that broke after 15 years of use and wanted to return to a top loader. As you can see in the picture, it does not wash your clothes, it leaves residu even after trying there suggestions on how to wash your clothing so to not have residu. This is not normal for such an expensif washer to have instructions on how to wash your clothes. I’m a person who washes in cold water to save the planet by using less hot water but with this washer you can’t, one of the suggestions is to use hot water to wash. And finally, I am the type a person who buys what she likes without reading the reviews, before buying another washer, I will be reading the reviews.

I am so mad at this washing machine. I wish I never bought it.. it does not clean no matter how much or whatever I do. it is the same thing !!!! wastes time and water and whatever it needs to run it.

Looking for Answers

I bought this washer a few months ago. My kids do their own laundry most of the time and they like to push buttons. So, they push the Load N Go and now the detergent wont dispense unless I reset to factory settings, this make absolutely no sense at all...why wouldnt I want my detergent to dispense. Also, is there a place to add detergent to the load one at a time manually?
I would recommend this to a friend!

Continuous Problems

Have had this system for less than two years...we've had to have multiple service visits. Often will spin, but not add water...or spins and adds water multiple times. Now the system will not fill with water. Seems to be one problem after the other, I'm thinking we bought a lemon.

Unbalanced all the time

I’ve had this a year and since bought it’s the same thing…more than three towels or two blankets it goes off balance. Even small throws. I have to take the towels out, wring them out and do one at a time. Unless you want to be awak all night trying to wash a couple of throws or a few towels, get something else.

Nice set up

This is a very good washing machine.
Conserves water and cleans very well.
In month 13 it needed a new drainage pump and control circuit.
Overall, it performs very well and removal of the agitator when needed is a plus!
Dependability disappointed me with multiple parts needing replaced in only 13 months from New.
