This dryer works well.

Some had complained that the controls were too easy to bump and change. You can use control lock and nothing will be pressed, so I have no idea why anyone had that issue. The music that plays when it finishes sounds like a few bars from the Star Trek Next Generation theme, although not enough for many people to recognize, and it is not too loud for us and is fine.To the important part....it dries well, and we are happy so far with our purchase! It dries faster than our old dryer, and the clothes are in good shape.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love Duet!

When my washer broke I purchased a Duet washer. Love it so much that when my dryer broke I replaced it with a Duet dryer.

Stackable, efficient and quiet

Efficient and quiet dryer. Love the stackable feature as it saves space, and can be replaced as a single unit, unlike all in one washer/dryers, should the need arise.

This is my first Whirlpool washer/dryer. Also the first High Efficiency. Really love them both. Quiet and best of all so much less water usage.

overall, a good dryer

Have had it for about 3 weeks and have a few things to say so far. PROS: It is very quiet and dryes the clothes fast. CONS: The opening is smaller than my past Duet and it makes it a little tricky to get the clothes in and out. The door and the opening is also lower to the floor, so trying to open the door over the laundry basket does not work as it has always worked on my other Duets - this is the same for the new Duet washer. If I were to select a dryer again, I would find one with a bigger opening and the door high enough to get may laundry basket under.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
