Temperature Concerns

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator just under nine months ago and have already had one repair. As a lifelong fan of Whirlpool appliances, this has me concerned. The refrigerator wasn't cold enough to keep food from spoiling and needed a new part. I bought a refrigerator thermometer and it is registering 40 to 41 degrees when set at 34. I needed a very small unit to replace a small built-in Sub-Zero that I hated. Worried that I may still have a problem.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
