The Garmin S62 is a great watch for the golf enthusiast, but also doubles as a multi sport smart watch for morning jogs, and keeping informed throughout the day of what's going on without having to pull out your phone every time it dings or vibrates.
I am extremely tough on watches but this thing is very durable. I have worn it for 7 months and the bezel and glass look brand new. I was expecting scratches, nicks and a few dings by now, but the only wear I see is on the band. I expect this watch will last a very long time.
The golf feature is great with a few minor set backs. It can sometimes take 15 minutes or more to connect to satellites which it frustrating if you are on a tight tee time, but it can be avoided by getting it started when you arrive at the course rather than waiting until you are on the first tee box.
Learning how to access all the features takes a little getting use to but once you do it's not terrible. Overall, I find the accuracy of the yardage measurement to be on par with other high end ranger finders with only a couple of yards of difference separating the ones I have compared.

My biggest complaint, and the reason for minus one star, is the charging system for this thing. It uses a plug in port that is only used by Garmin, so if you misplace the cable (which I do often) you can forget about charging your watch until you order a new cable or find the one it came with. It would be nice if it used USB-C or Micro USB because access to cables would be so much more convenient. Better yet, a MagSafe style charging option so it never has to be plugged it would solve this annoyance well. Hopefully we will see this in future version.
Overall a great purchase, with lots of great features I find myself using on a daily basis and I get lots of compliments on the style and look of the watch. I would purchase again.

I have been using different types of range finders and GPS locators and found that Garmin watches have been the brand and devise that I find is easiest and most accurate to help me.

The Garmin s62 is a great smart watch and even better golf gps. From the complete hole view and the slope rated distances. Easy to use, read and download updates thru Wi-Fi. Tough and durable to. I would recommend this smart watch to anyone looking a really nice time piece with tons of great options.

Great device and easy to use. Battery life is exceptional. Cannot wait until I play a whole season and use the statistics to see where I can continue to improve my golf game. Added bonus of keeping up with steps, calories burned and heart rate.
