My wife got me this watch. This has help with scores, distance gps, keeps track of the clubs i am using and Cadiy option is amazing. I highly recommended. I makes my game more fun.

Xmas gift. Downloaded app, called help line, no solid answer. The watch is syncing to my phone. I am getting email/ text message notifications to watch. Gotta stop it. How to fix?

Received my Garmin for Christmas but didn't get to use it until mid-January. Compared to my Shotscope, the satellite connection seemed faster and more accurate (based on golf cart GPS). However, the watch functions were more difficult to use. Perhaps because accessing the features are new to me. I do like seeing the entire hole laid out in color with distances to hazards. This is my 3rd distance finding device.

Has not worked well for me

First S62 I bought, I sent it back, it quit working, it locked up, Garmin was good about replacing it even though it was about 4 weeks past the warranty. The replacement I got was a refurbished one, it is very slow to find golf courses, sometimes it doesn't find them at all, sometimes I'm on the second or third hole and it hasn't found the course yet. And it doesn't give correct yardage sometimes, it's pretty slow when looking at the yardage it's still changing the numbers or calculating, most of the time it gives the right yardage but sometimes it can be as much as 40 yds. off, my son bought the same exact watch as me and his works great, we go by his yardage and not mine sometimes, and his S62 finds the same courses that we play while mine is still trying to locate the course two holes later. I wish I could give it a better review than this.

I received this watch 3 years ago as a gift and up until a week ago it was great. Then the touch screen stopped working. I attempted fixes that were on the Garmin sire, but nothing worked. So now I have a golf watch which can tell time but is useless for it's intended purpose. Quite a disappointment.

Approach S62 Review

I bought this as both a golf watch and a workout watch. The golf aspects are great. However, using it on a treadmill, the distance travel is inaccurate. I have used the calibration feature to set the miles while using on treadmill as well as resetting the watch to factory specs. Neither has resulted in accurate distance while on treadmill

Many Useful features some hard to use.

I like the ability to track my shot distance. I like the idea of tracking distance to a spot on the course but I find it very hard to arrow in on a particular spot. It occasionally jumps to a hole other than the one I am playing. That probably happens about once per round.
I usually syncs automatically with my iPhone or iPad except when it doesn't. When it doesn't it takes a lost of screwing around to get it to sync.
