Successor to my fallen s60

I got my s60 near when it was released like 7 years ago. I used to be an early adopter with tech but was let down so many times I really have just became someone that sticks with what works. The s60 was really great up till the day it just stopped charging. It was a no brainer to replace with the s62. All the improvements between them seem very well thought out and I appreciate the ox pulse sensor addition. It was extremely easy to setup new and just go play golf with this great aid back where it belongs.

It does work for golf

I’ve been playing with this at least twice a week since I got it a month ago. The Golf distances all appear to be quite accurate. The map is a nice feature. I use it quite a bit and I’m still having trouble figuring out the hazards.. It took a couple of tries to figure out, navigating the touchscreen to get me from the hole. I suppose the downside is the manual is totally useless. It’s a lot easier, figuring out how it works by going online and watching YouTube.. As for all the other bells and whistles, it’s a total waste. It would’ve been a lot easier to just make a Golf watch with all the Golf features and sell it at a decent price point. If I hadn’t gotten it at a deal I would’ve never bought this.

stopped working well

Despite multiple reboots, I can't get it to return to tracking my yardage on different clubs, + recording penalties and # of putts in the score on each hole. I miss these features!

Screen could be a lot brighter

Still trying to get used to all the features I’ve played two rounds with it not totally satisfied yet. Screen is hard to read. Could be a lot brighter.

I have had it for a month and don't like it not following me from hole to hole without walking off the back of the tee box. It doesn't pick up the hole when starting at a hole other than hole 1. At the price of the watch I don't like having to pay for more options. I liked my s60 a lot better.

excellent golf watch.

The S 62 Garmin golf watch is a very capable every day wrist watch, but with its functionalities it very much excel in the golf area. My personal experience is that it took a little getting used to, but once I got used to the unit, it excelled and helping my yardage prediction and my overall confidence within my golf game. The display is outstanding and the overall functionalities, such as scorekeeping really puts this watch into another level.

More than expected

At first I was not impressed, almost returned it. I stumbled, but stuck to it, figured out I had to download the connect app also, not just the golf app. It never said anything in the use instructions. That's why the four stars!!! Once I figured it out, it came to life, more life than anticipated!!! Now, I can't imagine using anything else, thank you Garmin!!
