I like the fit and looks of my new watch. I think it has plenty of functions and useful data that helps with training and fitness. When I first got the watch I was able to get a hiking activity and now I can’t find it anywhere. I would like to know how to add the hiking as an option in the list of activities. It has been okay for golf but still trying to figure out how it keep track of strokes without having to go in and change on every hole

I've had my Approach 62 for a couple of years and am thoroughly enjoying it. It's unbelievable how much convenient it is to glance at your wrist to get yardages as opposed to pulling out the range finder, finding the flag and shooting the distance, then replacing the rangefinder before actually taking a swing. Another great feature is that the yardage to front and back of the green is always shown. Very happy with my purchase.

Overall a great watch

I've had the S62 for over a month. Played 3 rounds of golf with it. Previously, I owned the S60 and loved it. Upgraded to the S62 on a deal. The added features are good. Nothing I didn't know I was missing with the S60. Some of the new added features for golf make it a little cumbersome to navigate while playing. I hate being the guy pushing buttons on his watch while everyone waits for you to hit. I'm hoping it's something I can figure out with more practice under my belt.

Garmin S62 golf gps watch. So many features.
I use the S62 in conjunction with CT10 sensors. This enables the virtual caddy to recommend club selection based on my distances.
The display is good with front , middle, and back yardages.
A tap on the watch and distances to hazards can be shown.
Changing holes and keeping score are both easy.
I sometimes use the pin finder to show me the direction to the flag/pin.
There are more features for sure.
The S62 is easy to setup , accurate, has good battery use, and easy to use on course.

Very Versatile.

I've only used it on the golf course twice thus far and was very impressed with the ease of use and accuracy. I have also started using it as my primary fitness watch. It does everything my fitbit does, with the added bonus of golf functionality.
