Review of S62

This was a Christmas gift. #-1, It loses 25% or more of charge every day, #-2, It is difficult to use as it constantly locks down and it does not follow you from one hole to the next, #-3, Just a very hard piece of equipment to operate. Not worth the price or the bother. #-4, It does have pretty pictures of the greens and pin placement, but I would not recommend it to anybody.

Overall I like what the watch has to offer. I like how the Garmin app keeps track of the club distances and scores. The scores really go in detail of how many shots were made for each specific hole. Furthermore, I can see which club was used and long it went for that hole. The only downside for this watch is the screen. It is not bright enough while out of the course thus making the watch one dimensional and not an everyday watch. I find that the screen ratio is small for a 47mm as I compare it to my 47mm Samsung Galaxy watch classic and the Garmin Approach s62 looks smaller. The wind and smart caddie features are great for a beginner like me. Overall this watch is worth buying specially with the price drop after the new S70 came out.

A little soon to evaluate. I haven’t golfed yet. I’m not happy with the fact that I can’t answer a phone call. So, so, otherwise, I like it very much. Time will tell. Ask me again in May.

Great Features & Watch Quality

I received the watch as a present a few months ago and have started using it now. The screen definition is great, and the choice of features is admirable. As a golf device, it is amazing in terms of distances and course layout. My main concern is battery life. Without GPS usage, the battery only lasts 4 days. With GPS usage after one golf round, the battery is almost dead. Any possible advice on battery replacement? Please Advice

First golf watch purchased, so it took a few rounds to get the settings aligned so my focus was on golf & not the Watch face. I really like the score card feature of prompts allowing me to count each stroke thru the round. Also I enjoy the easy access to hazards thus allowing me to evolve a better strategy to the cup. This tool permits me to have better insight into the game now in my 3rd year at age 75. A fun facilitator !

Never had a golf watch before and relied on a laser range finder. I still have it, but haven't used it once since I got this watch. I really like the green function and the ability to move the flag placement.
