Great watch!

I had an older version (Approach 20) and lost it, I’m so happy with this replacement! It is quite the upgrade from what I had. I love the touch screen, it is easy to use, and gives me all the info I need on the golf course. Love it!

So close to excellent

Golf watch doesn’t know pin locations so it’s a hassle to know exact yardage. Thus, I still use rangefinder to pin. Otherwise, it’s really good.

Looks cheap

Not ready for prime time. Poor graphics. Not sharp. Looks cheap. Rubber band is cheap. Navigation a bit clunky. Fixing input errors. during a round can be a pain.

Great Golf Watch

This watch has helped my game tremendously. I bought this watch for the virtual caddie feature and it has not disappointed! Just listen to it and watch your handicap drop. I did have an issue with the touch screen stoooed working but Garmin had me a replacement back in less than a week after I shipped my old watch back in. The only bad part of the experience is that it did take over a week to get the email with the shipping label to send it back. Thanks for your help with my game Garmin!

Poor power charging

I am totally unhappy with the Garmin Approach S62. They don't charge when u wanted it and you won't know when they will charge. We have to reset it then only it will charge. Every reset process takes so much time and effort. I am giving it away.

Doesn’t live up to expectations

The best thing about this device is the score keeping feature. But it is not worth the money. The distance feature is so slow that I have to pause over the ball to let it catch up. I now use a scope as the measurement on the S62 is off. Another gripe is that when I play the back nine first, it is confused about playing the front nine and I have to force it to start over. Another gripe is that if there are two holes side by side, many times it will drift over and give me the wrong hole and I have to manually change the hole. The other features seem to be okay like calorie counting, miles and time walked, etc. but the golf features, which is why I bought it in the first place, are a disappointment. Don’t waste your money.
