S62 is quite the upgrade over the S40

After being very satisfied with the S40 for 3 years, worn out charging contacts lead me to purchase the S62. The major upgrades include:
1. Battery life. After 2 years or so, the S40 was only good for one round of golf. After 18 months, the S62 easily provides threes rounds of coverage.
2. New features. I was very pleased with the S40, but the S62 offered a lot more. Some of the features I thought were frivolous, but turned out not to be the case. Some useful features, such as recommended club (with the projected hole score for alternative clubs) were unexpected, and very interesting to review. Along the same lines are the distance to hazard readings that are available.
3. The display is sharper, and the watch responds more quickly. It seems to locate satellites a lot faster, for example.

If you can swing the extra cost, the S62 is worth it. The S40 is still a fine watch and a cut above many competitors I've seen, but if the battery is starting to wear out, just consider trading it in for a refurbished model if you looking to save a bit.

Wonderful watch, great for golf and everyday use. Battery last at least a week before you have to charge.

So far so good

I have only used it one but so far so good. I haven't figured all the features out yet. I can't see the watch face...too dim so that is a problem. Need more time to see what it will do.

Great all around smart watch

I've been wearing this watch for several weeks now and just love it. Besides the great golfing features I'm enjoying the smart features too. Walking, biking, smart phone connectivity, heart monitor and more are just some of the features I enjoy using. Also very smart styling.

Great golf watch and more

I bought this to replace my Garmin Fenix 5 Sapphire plus. It is an everyday use watch that I use for fitness tracking, as a link to my phone and when playing golf. This watch is far better for the golf aspect and still works very well for everything else. I highly recommend it if you’re a golfer.
