Quick boil

Very disappointed!

Although the range is working well, the storage drawer on the bottom is VERY flimsy and will not close properly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently remodeled my 1952 kitchen, replacing the wall oven and counter cooktop with this stand in stove. I like it, it matches well, the oven is great! I like the convection option. I also like the quick boil surface. The only thing is I can't keep the cook-top spotless (I have black stainless model). Overall I am happy with my purchase.

Don't love it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced all my white appliances with Frigidaire Gallery stainless, and I'm sorry I did it. The oven takes 13 full minutes to preheat to 350 degrees - my other one preheated in about 5. The oven door will not stay open so I have to hold it open with my knee to put anything in or take anything out. Dangerous. The stovetop burners are really small in back and both big ones up front. I like to boil water for pasta on the back burner since all I have to do is let it cook, but I have to use up one of the front burners to do that now. The black top shows every bit of streaking and dust - I can never get it clean. The convection is supposed to cook everything evenly, but it does not at all. If I want something to brown evenly i have to turn the pan 180 degrees halfway through or they will only brown on the side nearer the back of the oven. I am still playing with the time and temperature -- I cannot rely on a recipe telling me what to do because the oven is not consistent with that. Just very disappointed I replaced perfectly good working appliances that did everything I wanted just to get stainless steel with a much inferior performance.

Great stove!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this with the Frigidaire Gallery suite package and have been very pleased. Still trying to learn the features and cooking time adjustments. LOVE the quick bake feature. It really only sheds off a few minutes, but I feel the food cooks more evenly with the airflow from the fan. Cupcakes cook perfectly!! The Quick Boil burner boils water SUPER fast which is very convenient. The only complaint I have and it’s really a trivial one is the storage drawer at the bottom. I feel I have to lift up on the drawer to open it as well as when I’m closing it. Again...not an issue, just an inconvenience at times if hands are full.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I’ve used less than 10 times and already scratched. I’ve been super careful and have experience with using them. Also I can’t believe it doesn’t have a delay start option

Okay but not great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had it about 3 weeks. Smooth cooktop is easier to clean than old range in some ways, harder in others, but the shiny black surface shows every speck of dust, smudge, and wiping streak. Takes nearly 7 minutes to bring 3 cups of water in a tea kettle to a boil on smaller burner (same size as the kettle)! "Quick Boil" is only a little faster -- perhaps better for a large pot. Takes about 10 minutes to preheat the oven. The curved handle of lower drawer sticks out just far enough that the dishwasher nearby won't open all the way. Had to remove the handle (not a big inconvenience, but an inconvenience nevertheless).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
