Regrets!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this stove for 3 weeks and I’m not very happy with it! Beyond the ease the cook top scratches (despite the protective cleaner), it preheats poorly! It is consistently 50 degrees cooler than where it’s set when it indicates it’s preheated. Eventually it catches up, but makes cooking a challenge. I have 2 oven thermometers in the oven to verify the temp. Regrets!

Did you know? Your appliance has been factory calibrated and tested to ensure an accurate baking temperature. If you think the oven is cooking too hot or too cool for your recipe times, you can adjust the control, so the oven cooks hotter or cooler than the temperature displayed. For further instructions, please review page 29 of your range’s “Use & Care” guide.
We recommend not to use oven thermometers such as those found in grocery stores to check the temperature settings inside your oven. These oven thermometers may vary as much as 20 to 40 degrees from actual temperatures.
Should you need further assistance, we can be reached by dialing 800-374-4432. Our Customer Care Team is available Monday through Friday from 8:30am-8pm EST.

Love the oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We wanted a ceramic cooktop range in stainless steel. The oven works beautifully but I haven't tried the convection yet. I love the textured black on the sides but the cooktop shows every fingerprint no matter how many times I apply the cleaning cream. It also scratches easily even though I was careful to lift the pans, not slide them, so I purchased flat bottom (No teflon) pots & pans. The baking temperature is very accurate so I am happy to get rid of my very old range.
