No light in the freezer.
LED light in frig section is very dim.
Ice maker quit working after a dozen cubes.
Snack tray much smaller (width and depth) - don’t care that it slides
I purchased this model because of height restriction and it is a replacement for the same model purchased 18 years ago. I am disappointed in the quality.

Hello. We are sorry to hear that we did not meet your expectations. We do not normally place a light in the freezer section of our top mount refrigerators as it is normally easily to be seen inside. We thank you for your review. Please make sure nothing tall is blocking the LED light. Also check and make sure there is no cubes stuck in icemaker and that the power cord is secure and check to make sure the power switch to icemaker was not bumped and turned the icemaker off. Having purchased many GE kitchen appliances over 70 years, the simplicity of this refrigerator attracted us. Yet the reliability of GE refrigerators is the underlying reason we bought this unit and we are pleased with it-large capacity, excellent layout in the refrigerator section and simple controls.

We really like this new refrigerator. Due to the overhead cabinets, we were unable to purchase a taller unit. This one is the same size as our previous 25 year old refrigerator. The ice maker is smaller than our previous one; however, it makes all that the two of us need. Finger prints will be my only complaint, but we will make sure to use the appropriate cleaner.

Ice Maker - the worst ever

The icemaker is slow to make cubes. Generally, puts out 30 cubes overnight. The ice tastes like chemicals and will not go away. We had this serviced - waterline flushed (no problem with the taste of the water) and had the icemaker flushed. The chemical taste will not go away. Totally useless and unhealthy. Is there a fix for this?
