A little noisy but needed a refrigerator now

It's a little noisy but I needed a refrigerator now, so I bought it. Just the right size for one person. At best I wouldn't recommend it not unless they had a limited amount money

The newer model refrigerators do run for longer periods of time to maintain proper temperature and that can make the operating sounds seem louder than what you are used to hearing. The great news is, even with the refrigerator running for longer periods of time it is more energy efficient because the greatest amount of energy is used when the compressor cycles on as opposed to when the compressor is actually running. No certified GE repair person in this area. Call several times without getting assisted.

Great refrigerator

So far so good. Wasn't really wanting a black refrigerator but it was all that I could find with in 2hours of my house at the time since everything is back ordered, but it goes well in my kitchen. It is a little noisier that the 20yr old GE that it replaced but I only notice it because of a few reviews I read. If I am in the kitchen and if it is dead quite in my house I may notice it when it is running. would have gotten 5stars if it came standard with an ice maker.

Freezer temp

Everything is working ok , but for my ice maker to work I have the freezer temp all the way down . It is registering 5% Fahrenheit , is this normal ?

If it is only making ice at the coldest 5 setting, service may be needed. Easy to clean

Love my fridge. It holds so very much. The door storage is impressive. Only draw back is that the controls and light are in the top middle of the fridge and causes the clearance in the middle of the top shelf to be slightly lower and when we take say the milk out, it catches on the light.
