Like it was made for us.

Very quiet and runs well. Cold things cold, frozen things frozen, capacity is just right for our household and has the full shelves instead of wire racks.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The GE GTS19KGNDRWW was a great choice for us. We needed a reliable and sturdy refrigerator for our garage and the GE model ticked all the boxes. Its combination of capacity, configuration flexibility, and user-friendly features made it an easy choice at this price point.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The only thing missing is a light in the freezer. I was spoiled by my last refrigerator having one.

Not Cool enough

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It does not cool to 37 degrees unless it is turned all the way up. It runs all the time to keep that temperature. Thanks.

It can be normal to use the higher settings to maintain the set temperature. This is due to factors surrounding the environment and the food load. Closed containers of water, food or non-perishables will help to stabilize the temperature. This is because the items in the refrigerator absorb the cold and actually work to help the refrigerator maintain a steady temperature in much the same way that ice cubes keep a drink cold.

You can check out this support article for additional tips to maintain temperatures: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=21185

Not thrilled with this GE product

Like the size and shelf options. Purchased another glass shelf for the freezer which is very nice to have. The refrigerator runs a lot even tough it is at the recommended setting - strange to me - don't know if the fridge is supposed to do that. The freezer door suction is not strong and the door comes ajar just slightly when closing the fridge (like pressure from fridge door closing) and lets air in the freezer. I hold the freezer door when closing and always watch the the doors are closed tightly. Protective coating is very difficult to remove and sticks incredibly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We'd like to help out with the freezer door and give some insight towards the compressor running. It can be normal to notice the compressor running more often during certain occasions. This can include new installations and on warmer days. You can also notice an increase when less items are stored inside your refrigerator. This is because the items in the refrigerator absorb the cold and actually work to help the refrigerator maintain a steady temperature. In regards to the door, we recommend checking for any holes or tears in the gasket, which can allow it not properly seal when closed. You will also want to make sure that your refrigerator is completely level to the ground. You can view information and instructions for leveling your refrigerator on page 10 inside the manual here: https://products-salsify.geappliances.com/image/upload/s--Lmy2gtim--/68e6a94012712e9254a986f4235800dc26ec277e.pdf
