It has Great Features

Our last GE was approx. 29 years Old. It lasted a very long time, we never had any problems with it so that is why we just bought another GE Refrigerator. We like the look of our new GE Refrigerator inside and out and we do not doubt that it will last us a very long time again.

Nice looking but instructions need improvement

Just installing so I have no long term review. My fridge new was damaged so my dealer was able to get an allowance. Installation instructions could be better. They are very vague. Example. There is a stryofoam piece on the front between the doors. It says "Do not discard. See installation instructions" Well the installation instruction do not say anything about this piece. Also, instructions tell how to remove the door. But if you ned to reverse doors, there are no instructions for this. So if you miss and don't see the door stop (on the very bottom of the door) that limits how far the fridge door open, you have to take everything back apart to move the stop to the opposite side. Nice looking and hope it lasts a long time. I wish they would go back to the solid door shelf compartments like GE use to have, but the plastic door shelves at least feel thisker and sturdier than other competitors I looked at. Also, ice maker is additional accessory which I knew but at least they could but the ice maker part number needed somewhere on the unit or in instructions. I had to research which ice maker to purchase after installation. Uses IM4D Ice maker

So far I really like the refrigerator. Glass shelves, deli drawer, lots of space in the refrigerator and in the freezer I hope it lasts a long time!
