JUST WHAT WE NEEDED

We needed a refrigerator that could take the Southern California heat. Built so much better than the previous refrigerators. Door thicker and after initial 36 hours we hardly ever hear it running. Good size freezer too.

This refrigerator is on the lower end of the price spectrum but seems to be well built. I purchased a similar fridge (different manufacturer) a couple years ago and the quality of this GE is easily evident. The GE has glass shelves, runs quieter and just seems like the better-quality unit. I really like the garage ready feature too.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The top freezer is larger than I need, and the refrigeration portion is a little smaller than I would have liked. Other than that, so far, so good.
