Okay except for freezer not being consistent.

Pretty nice but freezer temperature goes up unexpectedly for no reason. It is only 3 weeks old and it has happened twice. I turned temperature all the to coldest now. Had one just like this model and the same thing happened. Obviously a flaw of ge products. I did get it replaced due to my extended warranty. Not totally pleased.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

One of the best fridge/freezers on the market! Great value for the price. We have an older GE top freezer/bottom fridge and we love it so much we decided to get another for more storage. Much better than a side by side.

Big Dissapointment

Pros- Front looks nice

Cons- No light in freezer, my 28 year old refrigerator had a light in the freezer
No split shelves, and the shelves are flimsy
Deli drawer is flimsy with no guides or rollers
Lousy temperature control, the control is in the fresh food section only , non in freezer.
The so called dual control is a manual damper in the freezer much like you would control your car vent.
The more you close the control in the freezer the less air goes to the fresh food section making the
freezer colder but runs longer to reach the fresh food temperature. Remember the thermostat monitor
is in the fresh food section. So you can have the freezer door open a lot and so long as you do not
open the fresh food door the compressor to make cold air will not run. Gee is 2025 or what.
Produce bins are cheap and flimsy with no humidity control.
The first month of ownership we had to replace the freezer door gasket due to ice build up inside of door.
Replaced the temperature control module.
The compressor runs 75 percent of the day, i guess that's energy efficient.
Side notes, I wish I would have kept my 28 year old refrigerator. It did every thing better then this new
refrigerator but the wife wanted a pretty face for are kitchen overhaul. You know who won that
battle.

Noisiest refrigerator I’ve ever had. Being an open concept home, you need a quiet refrigerator hence my research. Went by Consumer Reports magazine ratings and comments. Disappointed with Consumer Reports as well now.

Freezer door pops open when refrigerator door shuts.
Not easy to see or reach items on top shelf of refrigerator.
