Quality Bag / Could Use Interior Features

All of the pockets and features are o the external part of the bag. Lacks interior straps or pockets. Just an empty cavern inside and would be served well with some straps to secure interior contents, especially given that it is meant to be carried with in multiple ways in terms of vertical or horizontal orientation. I travel around 350k a year internationally and this bag serves well to carry larger winter items coupled with a carry on roller bag making it unnecessary to have a checked bag. wonderful choice to supplement a carry on roller case, however, I would personally not replace my carry-on with this bag. high quality construction and seems very durable.

I first purchased this pack in 2018 for a trip to Europe. I lived out of this pack for 7 days- my wife also had her spare shoes in this pack as well as clothes and other miscellaneous items that wouldn’t fit in the osprey back pack she used. The pack was awesome for the 7 days we spent traveling by train around France, Germany, Switzerland, and Italy. After the trip I use the pack twice a month to travel to work and from work. It has seen from -49f to 110*f and been all around the U.S. with me from the top of Alaska to Florida. It has been rained, sleeted, and snowed on after being thrown in the back of pickups and never got any of my items wet. I have stuffed the bag tell i have to lie on it to close it. This bag has not lived a easy life. That is why after 4 years of abuse I am happy to say I finally managed to rip some threads holding the main zipper on. Other then that this bag still looks almost as good as new with a few scuffs around the edges. This is a good product and I will be getting another.

Well worth the cost

I’ve used this bag on 5 trips. Fully loaded with laptop, tablet and five days worth of clothes this bag can get heavy fast. Pros: you can’t find a better bag for organizing things. It’s the sexiest box out there. The compartments are well designed and layer out. Security: If someone can get into this bag while your wearing it.. they probably already clubbed you over the head with a pipe.
Cons. I wish the laptop holder was side loading ( having to open the clam shell to remove the laptop and expose all my stuff is not a deal breaker but a pain at TSA, the material scratches easily.
Nomatic is definitely my new go to for luggage company.

I took this bag on deployment. Survived being thrown in and out of helicopters at various FOBs in Afghanistan. Love these products.

Solid carry on & road trip suitcase

This bag has been a great addition to my nomadic collection being able to travel on planes or in the car with. I give four stars because while it’s still a solid bag, I enjoy the more functional design of the backpack quite a bit more, in this 40 L bag is less utility/functional use focus.

I've had my 40L travel bag for nearly two years now, and I love it just as much as the day I got it. Depending on your personal style and the way you pack, you can easily fit more than 7 days of clothes in this bag; I wear a lot of athletic shirts that take up minimal space in packing cubes when Army rolled, and recently fit 10 days worth of clothes, plus two stuffed toiletry bags, laptop, tablet, and sandals into the bag for a 2-week vacation. I fully intend to expand my Nomatic collection, because this bag has been everything I hoped for and more!

I'm to small for the Duffle config to be seamless

I use this backpack as an everyday tech bag. Its great, love it, does everything I need it to and more.
Becuase I am a small lad, changing to the duffle config is a huge pain and not worth it. If I was a more bulky person, it would be seamless, its hard to explain.
Overall, good backpack, really enjoying it.
