The bag needs a solid waist strap that can tuck away when traveling but can be used when backpacking

I purchased this bag for a trip to Japan. I wanted a backpack that I could use daily during the two week trip. I was able to pack most of my essentials into the bag for the trip, only needing a small carry-on bag to allow me to bring some additional electronics. The pack performed flawlessly for its intended purpose but it was a little heavy for daily trips around the country. For that I ended up purchasing a lightweight bag that was a little easier to carry, especially when getting on and off the trains. Overall I highly recommend this bag.

Would change zippers on main access, so wouldn’t have to fumble with them to close. Zippers tend to disappear under panel….

Recently used this on a trip for 4 days, I had more than enough space and squeezed in even more than what the trip required. Very thankful I made the purchase and looking forward to expanding my bag in the future.

I love how big this backpack/duffel bag is! Has just enough compartments and I love how it opens like a suitcase yet you can wear it as a backpack! Great quality!
