There's a lot to love

There's a lot to love here. It's VERY well made, well designed, and well structured. My only feedback is that I would love if there were the option to clip a 10-20L extension bag on top of the backpack so I can use it for longer trips. I think this would bring the Nomatic pack in line volume-wise with longer trekking bags that companies like Osprey provide.

I love almost everything about

I love almost everything about it except for one major issue - the fit of the backpack on my 5'2" petite frame, short torso. This backpack is meant for someone who is much taller (with a longer torso) if they plan to use both the shoulder and waist straps. I searched and researched for a 40L backpack that I can bring on the plane for my 2 week international traveling. The website did not provide information about torso fit, nor did I receive a reply back about my question... so, I gave it a shot and ordered the backpack. Backpacking through Asia was the plan. I did not use the backpack for the trip and opted getting another brand of backpack that fit me. Instead, I decided to use this backpack only if I know I will carry a light load (less than 15 lbs) over short walking distances. The shoulder straps will not rest on my shoulders if I put on the waist straps, even after adjusting the shoulder straps, which prevents me to comfortably switch back and forth between the two when carrying a heavy load. Other than that, I do like the materials, workmanship, ease of access and organization, and some security (RFID pockets) this backpack provides. Somewhat disappointed, but working with what I got.

Overal the bag is pretty

Overal the bag is pretty good. The main compartment flap is awkward to only open partially and I get the feeling it puts a lot of wear and tear on the zippers (although it might not). One complaint I have are the side straps (meant for use as a duffel if one so desired); they sometimes get caught when I am trying to put the bag on as a backpack. The main complaint I have though is the chest strap that seemed to have easily come off. I have no idea how it came off it where it went.

The bag is ok, the zippers on the waist straps have already broken and I just took it on its first trip. The zipper for the main pocket has already come apart twice, I’ve have to “fix” it both times.
Other than the zippers the bag is cool but lets be honest the zippers are a pretty big part of the bag.
