Don’t love it. My tastes

Don’t love it. My tastes are more of a simple classic style and I find this bag to have too many gadgets and less efficient room for items. I’d prefer a simple hold-all made from same materials. Likely for younger people they will like it. I fell for the video.

Overall it’s a pretty good

Overall it’s a pretty good bag. I’d give it a B+. The features do live up to the hype. The side pockets are extremely helpful and the lock that comes with it is a plus. My passport, wallet and etc are safe. The water bottle area is good for not only a water bottle but for other items that you may not want to leak in your bag as well.
The bag can hold a great deal. I’m currently on a 8 day trip to Thailand and it holds up well. It’s important to factor in the use of the sock/underwear compartment and the shoe compartment —- it definitely takes away space where your clothes/packing cubes go. When using both compartments, I was able to fit two medium Gomex packing cubes in there. It was a tight fit for sure. I’ll be considering nomatic packing cubes to see if it helps with the fit. The laundry bag was a nice addition. I’ve been using it.
The harness system is a bit clumsy. The nomatic images and videos of the bag don’t really give you a true depiction of how crazy the straps can get especially when using the hip belt. Imagine using your hip belt and etc as you go through the airport and board the plane. The chest strap unsnapped on me while in the airport. I was fearful it broke but I was able to reconnect it to the bag.
One thing I despise is the main compartment zipper system. When you open the main compartment (where your packing cubes go) unzippping it all the way is incredibly hard. The initial unzip is fine but when you try to unzip it all the way it becomes a bit of a challenge. To get it all the way unzipped you have to tug a great deal and to start zipping from that end point you have to tug. But like I said, it’s only in that particular area of the zipper line. It’s a design fall that has no relationship to how much you put in the bag.
Despite the cons just mentioned, I’m pretty happy with my purchase. This is my first travel backpack and I intend to use it for years to come. I’m excited to see where me and my nomatic go.

This bag is LEGIT. Immediately upon opening, you can feel the quality. The material is soft to the touch, yet super durable. Within a week, I used this bag on a local photoshoot as a grab bag and then flew out to Asia for a week long job. It held up incredibly well. The pockets are perfect: the shoe slip doubles as an easy access port for my camera, the side zippers are super accessible for my wallet, passport, SD cards, etc. I really can't speak highly enough to the quality and the look of this bag!
