The 40L bag has a very clean and urban look, just what I wanted. It's easy to pack and has some great features, and more than enough room for a full 10 day trip. The only reason it didn't get a full 5 stars is that the outside zipper is hard to close when a laptop is being carried in the inside sleeve area (and I have a small Surface Book). I struggle to easily zip it close after clearing TSA or removing the laptop before placing it in the overhead bin.

Its what I needed in a travel bag. Now with two carryon bags, I have enough space to travel with 14 days worth of clothes, my computers and other travel items. Very pleased with the design.

just thought it would be a bit bigger inside. but it should be okay as I plan to do a two bag travel trip. we will have to see. to be honest i havent traveled with it yet.

I can't recommend this bag enough. I did a considerable amount of research before investing in a bag I plan on using for a long, long time. I finally landed on this Nomatic 40L bag and it exceeded my expectations.
At first, I was concerned that a 40L bag (relative to the 45L and 50L competitors) wouldn't be enough space for two weeks in Europe. Well, it definitely was. The comfort of knowing that it complies with all carry-on size and weight restrictions (even on economy airlines) is a massive plus. I did pack a little lighter than I normally would've (and it was a summer trip so I didn't bring many layers), but I had everything I needed and probably even a little extra.
The side pockets with RFID protection as well as mesh pockets for cords/cables and other electronic travel necessities is awesome. Easy to access and makes grabbing things while navigating airports/train stations a breeze. The zippers are high quality.
The hip and chest straps do a good job distributing weight. The bag is super comfortable overall.
If you're serious about investing in a long-term travel bag, this is the one you need.
