Bought this under kick-starter. Unfortunately after prolong used, the shoulder strap cover starts to peel off bits by bits. Rather disappointed because one of the highlights of this product is "Durable" and it is not.

Great organization and design, but

Great organization and design, but the handle was so tight I could barely get my hand under it to pick up the bag and the shoulder strap is about 6 inches too short. Just not usuable like that for me.

I have a love/dislike relationship

I have a love/dislike relationship with this bag. It’s not enough of a dislike to choose 3 stars but 4 is all it gets from me. Here’s why.
Dislike:
-It doesn’t stand up without something in the back pocket- if there isn’t a laptop or iPad in the back sleeve it’s too front heavy and it falls over. I have to consciously prop it against something or set it backwards against the wall if I want it to stay up.
-The back pocket is too tight- I can only fit one electronic in the back pocket so I end up cramming my iPad in the middle pocket when traveling. If you’d grab any positive from this it would be the fact that I now keep my laptop inside my carry on suit case, which I almost never need while in transit and it has lightened my overall load. But, there are times to and from the office when I have both and so it causes some issues then.
-The shoulder strap has issues- The shoulder strap has a cool magnetic feature but it fails to function like a normal untangling shoulder strap. I would have rather seen two loops and a regular swivel clip because every time I pick it up I have to figure out which direction to spin the strap to make it flat. Also when you have a water bottle in the side pocket it gets in the way of the directional un-attach feature. Lastly, it’s uncomfortable.

-The overall size is nice for what you should actually be carrying on a daily basis. I most recently came from a back pack that I had all kinds of crap in that I never used. Now I only carry exactly what I need and it fits everything nice.
-I like having the 2 separate hook and loop internal organizers. I started with one and then realized I like the other one better. But it gives you a chance to figure out what works best for you. If you like the insert that has the iPad pocket then the above comment might be mute for you, but I like the other one better so that causes an overall issue.
-The material is tuff and easy to clean. This is nice to give it a fresh new look from time to time and to be able to clean it at a moments notice.
-The zippers are nice and work as they should. This might seem like a no brainer but there are still some poor zipper on the market.
-It looks professional and I think that’s a good thing if you need it.
-It keeps it’s shape which is nice when you just need to put something small in or you don’t want things smashed.
-The sunglasses pocket is nice but you might as well throw away the lid.
-The organization is great for the overall size of the bag and it works as it should.

I fly about 500k miles

I fly about 500k miles per year, and I love the messenger bag for traveling. It's like a laptop bag with extra space for things like my headphones, outlet adapter, glasses case and a warm layer I can put on when the plane is freezing. I also like the document section, especially these days when you need extra docs like passenger locator forms and proof of negative COVID tests. It's the perfect companion to either my large Nomatic Check-in bag, or my roller Carry-on Classic, depending on my trip. I like how it attaches to the handle of either bag.
