This bag is really great.

This bag is really great. Lots of pockets and wears surprisingly comfortably on the shoulder for a laptop bag. Gave it 4 stars because of the removable strap. It is a great concept, however, because it clicks off the bag so easily, it frequently comes apart when trying to grab the strap from under a plane seat, plane overhead bin and off the security belt. I would re-design a strap that maybe with a lock position? Also, I would love to see Nomatic create a hybrid convertible messenger bag/backpack with laptop strap AND backpack straps (like Sherpani).

To be fair I think the bag is great. It does not get my total love since my needs are more for a tool bag not a go to the office with minimal stuff bag. I used it for a trip and ended up using for a camera bag. I showed it to my daughter who is more manager oriented than me. I do IT support from the desktop to the Wiring Closet so it just needs to be about a third bigger. Will pass it on to my daughter and go back to my backpack. I will say it is well made and I stuffed it on my trip without any major issue other than I couldn't find stuff without unloading. Hate to give away this one but it will get used and not stuffed in a closet somewhere.

The material seemed very stiff and plastic like. Didn’t seem to look as high end. When I use my 13” laptop in the designated area it bulged out.

Great bag, great quality, really

Great bag, great quality, really does fit everything I need. I do recommend it. Here’s why for the four stars. First and main reason I like how the strap releases but after that magnetic mechanism their needs to be a swivel. If one side of that magnetic attachment spins around it creates a twist in the strap and can be difficult to figure out which way to spin it back. I find myself just leaving it twisted. Other thing is and this isn’t really a big deal. Once in awhile if the magnetic buckle happens to be in the correct spot they accidentally get pulled out. It’s not often and it’s so simple to put back that it’s no big deal. But maybe look into making it require more force to pull out. All in all great job!

I had high expectations. I have 3 devices I wanted to carry. 15” MacBook, iPad Pro, Kindle Paperwhite. The bag is so “thick” it offers very little volume. While the zipper arrangements and some of the pocket creativity is inviting, I was shocked how little the bag can hold. I’m actually giving up on it to look for a leather satchel style. Sad.

Best Bag I’ve ever owned. The Nomatic guys thought of everything. It keeps me organized and it looks sharp. Every aspect of the Messenger Bag is functional and unbelievably convenient. It’s May and I already know what my friends are getting this holiday season.
