[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did not find the direction for leveling the refrigerator to be very good. If I shut the refrigerator too hard the freezer opens a quarter inch and does not close itself. Otherwise it is a good fridge for the garage.

Not Getting Cold or Freezing

But once the fridge was properly place we unwrapped most of it and plugged it in and when we thought it was getting cold only to be fooled when we found food had spoiled in the fridge. Not happy at all..However we hope our warranty covers the examination and repair.

This refrigerator was delivered 5 days ago. It has a 30 inch width and no protruding handles which fits into my condo's kitchen nicely. The 20 cu. ft. capacity is enough for our needs. The cooling is good and the running sound is low. The refridge door closes easily but the freezer door must be pushed shut to seal. The flat shelves are sturdy, but the door shelves are thin plastic and one actually cracked when I adjusted it. For the cost of this refridge, I rate it as average.

Very solid unit, good performance, good value

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use this unit in the garage. I was a little concerned initially as it seemed to take some time to cool down but it's a solid performer. Freezer is large (no icemaker in ours) and very cold, consistent. Refrig section has good design and drawers, very consistent temp (we use thermometers in both freezer an refrig to monitor) and quiet. No handles hanging out is a plus in a garage setting. Overall, very good product at a competitive price point.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The appearance of our new Frigidaire is most appealing! Our choice was limited by size. Before we had a bottom freezer, so we are still transitioning to our top freezer! And reorganizing our food storage! But we are liking the convenience of the storage units on the door! Our biggest concern is the lack of an effective closure on the two doors. The magnetic closure is not effectively drawing the doors closed. They need an extra push. Could you explain what might be a remedy for this problem? Thank you.

Good mechanical quality, plastic shelves leave something to be desired

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the appliance a few months ago. It's run well, although it did need to be defrosted once when there was an excess of humidity in the freezer. (Perfectly understandable in a house without central air in a very humid season)
My one complaint in the quality of the plastic shelves. To be fair, we are a large farming family and use our fridge heavily. However, we were being careful not to overload the shelves Unfortunately the Deli Drawer and bottom shelf on the door have already cracked. The deli drawer was when I was opening it normally.
