Garbage

Our fridge is only 2 years old and already seems to be completely broken. Was working fine up until a couple weeks ago when the fridge started freezing all of our food. When we lowered the temp and airflow settings to remedy the situation, then our freezer started not getting cold enough to freeze our food. We then changed the settings back to remedy the freezer and low and behold the fridge keeps NOTHING cold anymore. What an absolute piece of trash! Adding to that, hundreds of $$$ worth of food completely spoiled.
Do yourself a favour and steer clear of this model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Stay Clear!

Similar to many other reviews, we have only had our fridge 1.5yrs. Within first 6 months it started to freeze everything in the fridge so we adjusted and it started to unfreeze our freezer items. Eventually it just stopped working all together. I have now been 5 weeks without a fridge
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My new fridge

We bought our Whirlpool WRT148FZDW refrigerator about 3 weeks ago to replace our old one. So far we are very happy with the performance. It is very roomy, quiet and it seems like a very solid refrigerator. Very happy with our purchase.

Adequate features for us

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this refrigerator to replace one we'd had for years. The area for it is relatively small and we didn't have plans for remodeling the area to accommodate a larger refrigerator. The features are basic which is what we wanted. It's deceptively smaller than I expected when actually placed in use. The freezer compartment does not have a light which is disappointing. Overall, it meets our basic needs.

Fridge is freezing everything in it. It is 2 years old. This is not what I expected from a whirlpool fridge. I thought whirlpool make solid products. This is the first time i am doubting whirlpool. I used to recommend everyone i know to go for whirlpool but i think i will have to stop doing it.
