(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This refrigerator is a replacement for an Amana (also made by Whirlpool) that died after less than three years. So far the replacement fridge is working, although the freezer does not seem to get as cold as we expect (based on ice cream hardness). Whether or not we would recommend this model to a friend depends on how it performs in 5 years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased a home through Habitat for Humanity and this was the fridge that came with the home. It is a standard fridge, that seems to keep the temps well. My only dislike about the fridge is that the door opens all the way and there is no safety setting - where the door could literally open until it hits the wall. This makes me nervous each time I open it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
