30" Wide Top-Freezer Refrigerator

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I moved in over a month ago to new build with all new whirlpool appliances. I was very excited, but in one day I was reminded of my mothers old Refrigerator in the 70s the noise it make, whirlpool has not advanced in technology, besides not leaving a layer of ice in the Freezer, the noise is extreme, especially at night, the motor is slammed when it stops. In a small condo, you want something with less noise, I would except just a hum, this Refrigerator is just a let down....
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Basic refrigerator- but energy star rated

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had less than a month, and hopeful it will work well. It took a good week for temps to keep as low as food safety needs, and freezer dept is still not as cold as my old one, even at coldest setting it tends to hover between 20 and 25 degrees rather than 10-20. The refrigerator compartment seems to be keeping between 34-39, so it's good. It has a pretty quiet operation.
It does have a few manufacturing issues, around the freezer door especially, two places where metal seems are uneven and hard insulation poking out into gasket , and same issue on top of fridge compartment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had our last refrigerator for twenty five years & hope this one will be just as good. We love it so far. The drawers glide in & out very smooth. It is nice & bigger than our last one. Freezer is huge. Has more shelves on the door. So far great

Compressor gave up within a year

I had got this fridge less than a year ago, and the compressor is not working now. Technician came and said it will take 21 days to get a compressor replaced.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had to wait 2 months for refrigerator to arrive. Freezer door came with scratches. Ordered a replacement and it also came with scratches and a malformed rubber fitting that seals the door. Need a replacement but doubt that will be honored. I paid 1200 total for a brand new refrigerator!!! Not a lot of quality control from my perspective.

Fridge is freezing everything in it.

Fridge is freezing everything in it. It is 2 years old. This is not what I expected from a whirlpool fridge. I thought whirlpool make solid products. This is the first time i am doubting whirlpool. I used to recommend everyone i know to go for whirlpool but i think i will have to stop doing it.
