Broke in a year

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I cannot image a brand new fridge will break in a year and customer service couldn’t help as only one year warranty covered and I purchased it through the builder when I moved in my brand new house.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ice maker Frustration!

I bought this Fridge in October 2021 and it was finally delivered in February 2022. Installer went to install icemaker that whirlpool said fit this model fridge and it had a different plug that would not fit. On phone with Whirlpool for over 90 minutes and no one could figure out what part. Was given another part number and ordered. The next one hits fan cover with metal lift rod and won’t work. Problem seems to be this fridge model number ends in 09 and parts list only goes to 06 model (which noted the wrong icemaker to buy) so none of their parts staff know what to do. Unbelievable. I was told would be forwarded to engineering and would receive email with proper part number within 48 hours. I Have not heard back. Frustrating beyond belief that a company can sell a product and not easily be able
To give you the proper part number for their own product. Part numbers given by Whirlpool so far were WPW10715709 and WPW10315446. Neither fit so don’t waste your time buying. Like the fridge but extremely frustrated with the Whirlpool inability to support their own product.
